1 Some Timid Bunnies Change Their Tune
One day some bunnies gathered round
To moan their awful fate,
They cried:
How sad it is to live
With terrors small and great,
Those hunters, dogs & wolves we
dread!
That is no life! We're better
dead!
Let's die!
said they, and headed down
Into a pond to crash,
But as they galloped toward the pond
They heard an awful SPLASH!
About a thousand frightened
frogs
Had thought they were attacked
by dogs!
Stop!
said one bunny.
Don't you see
How dumb is all this fuss?
These frogs have more to fear than we!
They're even scared of us!
It's not our fate we should
despise,
It is our fear! --That's what's
unwise!
