28. The Greedy Boy's Hand Gets Caught in a Jar
A hungry boy reached deep inside
A hazelnut jar in a shop,
But when he tried to pull out his hand,
His fist wouldn't fit through the top.
He screamed and he wailed and he burst into tears,
But the shopkeeper started to sing:
Take a few at a time,
sang the patient old man,
And you'll soon have enough for a KING.
MORAL: Greed can destroy opportunity.
