THE SKY HAWK'S HALLELUIA
Looking down from high above,
Motionless to those below,
My heart leaps with thanks for Love
That creates the winds that blow --
Thanks for stunts we hawks
can do,
Gliding on from height to
height!
Looking up, you'd have no
clue
What's the secret of our
flight:
How
the shoulders of our wings
Ride
the wind with constant swings,
How
each wing tip "feels the air"
With
ten plumes rotating there,
Each
plume makes a figure-eight
Holding
hawks high, still -- and straight.
With our hawk eyes' steady stare
We rejoice at all we spy
Growing wise and more aware
As more high we choose to fly,
Always safe within your care,
Children of the Wind on high.
